Host Profile: DJVamps

What's the name of your show? EVM

What's your show about and when does it air? My show is all about bringing the lesser known or sometimes the older artists in the world of EDM to the air. These guys are fairly good, maybe they haven't signed a record deal or they have a few songs, but what they do have is good music. But other than pushing these little guys, I just like EDM in general so I will bring just about anything I see as good out. My show airs Tuesdays 6 pm to 7 pm and Fridays 9 am to 10 am.

Is there a story behind your on-air name?  The story behind it goes back about 8 years when I was active in a multi game clan of players called Death Crusaders. we played several different games together and had a lot of fun. When I joined them I was playing a vampire in Forsaken World. Since it was a tradition of new players to start with DC then something, I ended up with DCVamps, and that's just how I always identified in games and when I was trying to think of a host name I thought, "why not replace the C with a J" and now you have DJVamps.

How long has your show been on the air? Since 10/18/2016.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Spare time, lets see. I like to play video games, (surprising I know) listen to music, program robots, and the occasional game of Magic the Gathering. Occasionally when I'm very bored, I'll just go pass out on my couch and wait for the next day since I was unable to think of anything to do.

Have you gotten any funny calls during your show? Not yet, though as a solo host, and being so late at night, I don't think I will get too many requests, but then again, I could be proven wrong.

If you knew you were going to be stranded on a desert island and could choose only 10 songs, what would they be?

In no particular order, and subject to change:
Flying High - DJSplash Remix
Gunmetal Black - Varien
iNSaNiTY - CircusP, NekoSheyS
Natural Disaster(Win & Woo remix) - Molly Moore
The fox's wedding - MASA Works Design
Pika Girl - S3RL
Bassline Kickin - Pegboard Nerds
Bass is kicking - DJSplash

What is one of your most memorable concert experiences? Concert experiences... Does preforming in the grand stand finale of the 2013 Diamond Jubilee New Years Day Parade in London count as a concert experience?

Tell us something about yourself that people might find surprising. I sometimes wish I was a cat.
