From the WKUF Archives: The Poor Al's on The Creative Alliance Showcase

This Wednesday November 19th marks the 10th anniversary of WKUF. Can you believe it?! In honor of the occasion, I'll be doing a variety of posts about our 10 year history.

This post covers one of our former shows, The Creative Alliance Showcase. Hosted by BMo Green and airing Fridays from noon to 2 pm on WKUF, The Creative Alliance Showcase played host to variety of artists and musicians from Flint. During his 1/30/09 broadcast, BMo conducted an interview with the folk duo The Poor Al's (pictured above l-r, Al Harris and Ali Misner). Because I was intrigued to find out what The Poor Al's were up to these days, I did a Google search. I discovered they now perform under the name Arlow Xan.

The clip below is the 1st part of BMo's interview with The Poor Al's. You can watch the rest of the interview by going to BMo's YouTube account here.
