New Shows on WKUF- Fall 2014

For the fall 2014 term we've added some new or returning shows to the WKUF lineup, which you'll find listed below. When provided by the host, there's additional info regarding their on-air name and format. I hope you'll give these shows a listen!

Show/Time:  Mountain Man's Music Minute, 9 pm-11 pm
Host:  The Mountain Man
Format: Mountain Man’s Music Minute is a weekly show offering a wide selection of country Music from artists like Glen Campbell, George Strait, Tim McGraw and more. Each week Mountain Man spotlights music from other genres in "Mountain Man’s Music Spotlight". On the show we play as much music without interruption as legally possible.


Show/time: Mosh Pit Rodeo, 4 pm-6 pm
Hosts: BDomz and DJ Robo-ruck
Format: Different musical genres (mainly metal, country and classic rock) and talk


Show/Time:  Traveling with the Nomad, 10 am-noon
Host:  DJ Nomad
Format: A variety of musical genres including Irish, Croatian, Jazz, and Rock

Show/Time:  Keep Calm and Rock On, 1 pm-4 pm
Host:  DJ Drakon
Format: Rock, new metal, electronic and dubstep

Show/Time:  Weekly Dose of Rock, 4 pm-6 pm

Everything that rocks, primarily from the 60's through the 90's, with some limited early 2000's.

Format: I
ntellectual, stimulating, and allegedly humorous discussion on political issues of the day, history, and other interesting yet random topics. If you don't care for the talk, then listen for the music, with all the best songs from the year 1989 or older!

Metal Mike Is Bringing the 70s Back on WKUF This Saturday Nite!

Since I will be in Cleveland for the weekend, Metal Mike is doing The Retro Mix this Saturday (which airs from 6 pm to 9 pm). He'll be playing hits of the 70s. Be sure to check out Mike for his regular show Anything Goes after that from 9 pm to midnight as he plays four 70s albums in their entirety.
