Programming Notes: The Brickyard and Rhythmic Incense

The Brickyard, which you can normally hear Friday nights from 7 pm to 9 pm, will not air on 2/20, 2/27 and 3/6. However, host DJ Evenstar will be back on Friday March 13th with plenty of good music and fun facts.

On Friday 2/20, 2/27 and 3/6, The Jack of Hearts will temporarily fill the void left by DJ Evenstar as his show Rhythmic Incense (which normally airs Fridays from 5 pm to 7 pm) runs until 9 pm. You can tune in via our webstream by visiting the "Listen Live" box located in the left sidebar. We are also available on TuneIn as well. Of course, if you're in the Flint area and want to listen, you can also tune your radio to 94.3 FM.

Exciting Changes to Our Automated Playlist

As you may know, when WKUF isn't broadcasting live programming, we run our automated playlist. Over the past couple of weeks, we have been adding to it with more to come. The auto playlist consists of rock, old school R&B, indie, dance, instrumentals, rap, real oldies, neo-soul, and more! Along with the hits you know and love, the playlist also has plenty of deep cuts which have been largely forgotten by radio. Also, we have been doing a test run of old time radio detective shows as well. Because WKUF reaches a culturally, racially, and economically diverse audience, the goal is for our programming to reflect that diversity. Please check us out when you can.

You can tune in to WKUF by accessing our webstream located in the left sidebar of our website. We are also available on TuneIn as well. Of course, if you're in the Flint area, you can also tune your radio to 94.3 FM.
