WKUF Presents Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill

This year marks the 20th anniversay of the release of Alanis Morissette's landmark album Jagged Little Pill. To mark the occasion, WKUF is playing the album in its entirety on Friday October 30th at 8 pm. This presentation will be hosted by DJ Southern Belle (one of the co-hosts of Shaking Up the Farm), who'll be providing trivia and commentary about the album. Released in 1995, JLP went on to win 5 Grammys, 6 Juno Awards (Canada's equivalent of the Grammy), and sell 33 million copies. 

October 30th is also the date that Alanis releases two versions of Jagged Little Pill,  a four-disc collector’s edition and a two-disc deluxe set.  For more details about these reissues and the recording of the original album, please click here

Terrible Terrance and DJ Southern Belle Demonstrate the Macarena

During a recent broadcast of Shaking Up the Farm, hosts That Guy and DJ Southern Belle featured songs of the 90s, including The Macarena. Terrible Terrance (the host of Rock Rehab) stopped by and he & DJ Southern Belle gave an in-stuido demonstration. Maybe we can get them to film their next dance instruction!
