Former community host of  The Classic Jazz Zone (Phil passed away on 3/30/22)

From 2017-2021, Phil Spencer (aka Phillipe Stone) hosted The Classic Jazz Zone. On his show he featured classic jazz artists such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Art Blakey and many more. His show aired Thursdays from 9 am until noon and Saturdays 9 pm to 1 am.

When he was a DJ in Flint in the late 70s, he was known as Phillipe Stone the Boogie Bone. In his spare time, Phil enjoyed watching all the Michigan sports teams.
