DJ Spindash shows

Sorry, there is nothing for the moment.

Former student Host of FTS

What was the name of your show? FTS

What was your on air name? Is there a story behind it? DJ Spindash. I love Sonic the Hedgehog, and I gotta go fast.

What was your show about? My show provided listeners with furious, rebellious optimism during some…. interesting times. It mostly consisted of punk rock and pop, but featured anything guaranteed to fire you up.

How long was your show on the air? It debuted on 3/2/21 and ended September of that year. I previously hosted “Spotlight”, which started in 2016.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I have a lot of hobbies, but my biggest passion is cars. I love hooning around and wrenching on cars. My close second would be gaming.

Tell us about a funny incident that happened during your show. It happens almost weekly, but I occasionally come on to talk.

If you knew you were going to be stranded on a desert island and could choose only 10 songs, what would they be?

  1. “Hot” by Smash Mouth
  2. “American Pie” by Don McLean
  3. “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond
  4. “500 Miles” by The Proclaimers
  5. “I’ll Be There for You” (Friends Theme) by The Rembrandts
  6. “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor
  7. “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey
  8. “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi
  9. “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” by The Four Seasons
  10. “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire

Mostly songs I can’t live without, and then “I Will Survive,” because reasons.

What is one of your most memorable concert experiences? I have only been to one concert in my life, I am sad to say. It was a Canadian Journey tribute band called Absolute Journey… and it was awesome.

Tell us something about yourself that people might find surprising.
Pinkie Pie is best pony.

In the movie “WKUF: The Untold Story”, who would you cast as yourself? George Clooney or Tom Cruise
