Lil DJ shows

Sorry, there is nothing for the moment.

Former student co-host of Genreless and host of Kick Ass Country

What were the names of your shows?  Genreless and Kick Ass Country

What were your shows about?  On Genreless, my co-host Em&Em and I played any genre of music our listeners wanted to hear! Pop, Rock,  Alternative, Instrument, Techno, Country, etc! You can listen to some of our archived shows on our Mixcloud page!

On Kick Ass Country, I featured some of the hottest sounds in country. Everything from the classics, current hits and ones breaking out of Nashville!

Is there a story behind your on-air name?   lil_DJ is a play off of my real name. I am a soon to be engineer; so, it really shows how creative engineers are with names…

How long were your shows on the air? Genreless started 11/9/2016 and Kick Ass Country debuted on 10/13/18.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  I LOVE music! I am the annoying person who sings at the top of her lungs in her room. I also enjoy horseback riding, technology and reverse engineering things.

Tell us about a funny incident that happened during your show. The mic button got stuck and so we were accidentally live while playing music…. but you live and learn! 🙂

Did you get any funny calls during your show?  Someone thought they were calling the local Chinese restaurant for take-out!

If you knew you were going to be stranded on a desert island, what are 10 of the songs you’d want with you?
1. Lucky Strike- Maroon 5
2. Sun Kiss You- Chris Lane
3. Country Girl- Luke Bryan
4. Love in an Elevator- Aerosmith
5. Warrior- Imagine Dragons
6. American Kids- Kenny Chesney
7. History Maker- Dean Fujioka
8. About the Beer- Frank Foster
9. H. O. L. Y.- Florida Georgia Line
10. Drunk People- Chris Lane

What is one of your most memorable concert experiences?  I saw Chris Lane at St. Andrew’s Hall. I was picked to go on stage and he sang “I Don’t Know About You” to me while I sat in a chair. It was an unforgettable experience!

Tell us something about yourself that people might find surprising.  I was a three sport athlete all four years of high school AND lettered in all three! I even graduated with a 4.0 weighted GPA.

In the movie “WKUF: The Untold Story”, who would you cast as yourself? Amy Poehler
